Today, we studied about the fashion (continue...) the topic is "SPLITTING HAIRS" First of all, the teacher gave us to see the hair styles pictures. Then, we solved the anagrams about hair styles. There were 6 hair styles in hand out. I like Shaggy hair because it is very smart. I do not like Dreadlocks because it seems dirty.

I would like to show you about the pictures of hair styles in this hand out.

Spiky Hair

Having one or more projecting sharp points of hair

Dreadlocks

Dreadlocks are intentionally matted and sculpted ropes of hair.

Shaved Head.

Head shaving is the practice of shaving the hair from a person's head.

Crew Cut

A crew cut is a type of haircut in which the hair on the top of the head is cut relatively short.

Shaggy Hair

Shag haircut look amazing on both thick and thin hair, naturally curly the best examples of shag haircuts for medium length hair in pictures.

Dyed Hair

Hair dyeing, which is an ancient art, involves treatment of the hair with various chemical compounds.

Next, we read the passage about "SPLITTING HAIRS" as quickly as possible and tried to capture the main idea each of paragraph then, we wrote the main-point just 1-2 sentence(s) in order to practice our English Reading Skill. The teacher concluded the text shortly. We knew the new hairstyles of this passage such as Dyed hair, Crew cut etc. Then, we did the exercise in order to review our comprehension. I got full scores of general for detail and reading for detail part. I missed one point of identifying facts and opinion.

Then, the teacher gave us to discuss about the hair styles that we found in order to ask some questions together. We discussed happily and saw each of pictures of our friends.

Eventually, the teacher gave us to answer the question "Your university has decided that all female students should have long hair and all male students should have crew cuts. Write to the student magazine with your opinion about this."

For my opinion, I think that new hair style rules are a good idea because it is formal. I think that male students should have crew cut because it looks polite and Female students should have long hair too, because it looks smart and polite. I also think that the people should have the freedom to have hair styles which they want However, they should recognize the rules of their school so they are the student and should focus on their study more than hair styles.
