Cause and Effect (Continued. . .)
Hello guys! How have you been today? I am so exhausted a little bit because of my homework. Here is eleventh week of studying in this course. The duration of this course will end as soon. So I will keep the instructions of my teacher to apply on my studying as much as possible.
First, the teacher gave us to check the answers with partners. If our answers were wrong, we would have to discuss why we were wrong and change into the correct answers.
When we finished checking the answers, she answered the questions about the text, The Effect of Stress, respectively.
Then, she read the text. I tried to listen her voice and note the phonetic of the words which I wasn't sure what they are pronounced. She explained the text each of paragraphs to us.
The text is about having too much stress results in physical, emotional, and mental health problems.
The physical effects of stress can affect the heart, the heart miss beats, high blood pressure. It can affect the respiratory system caused asthma. In addition, it can affect the stomach aches and problems digesting food too.
The Emotional effects of stress can make people anxious, angry or moody. They may have panic attacks. They may feel tried all the time. When people are under stress, they often overreact to little problems too.
Long-term stress can lead to a variety of serious mental illnesses. Depression can be the result of continued and increasing stress. Alcoholism and other addictions often develop as a result of overuse of alcohol or drug to try to relieve stress. That is the wrong way to shop it.
After we finished reading, the teacher gave us to write graphic organizer diagram in order to check what we could understand in the text or not.
During the class, when we were studying, the electricity was cut. Hence, we could not study anymore. That was too bad for me because I would like to study this lesson so much and the weather was very hot.
The electricity can be available since 11 am. Therefore, we had to present the recipe instead of studying.
I would like to show you about some photos of our presentation
Eventually, she assigned us to highlight the discourse marker and conclude the main idea each of paragraphs. Review the lesson and study again on this Sunday.
